Cathy O’Connor
Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director
One of Australia’s most recognised media industry leaders, Cathy O’Connor became CEO of oOh!media in January 2021 following 12 successful years at the helm of Nova Entertainment.
She is leading the strategic evolution of oOh!’s business model at a time of rapid change, capitalising on the company’s significant investments in data, audience insights, content and creative to target sustained growth.
Before joining oOh!, Cathy helped transform Nova into a multi-platform entertainment business, spending 17 years in total with the company. Prior to that she held several management roles at Austereo, after starting her career in radio advertising sales at 2SM and 2GB.
Cathy is a Governor of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation, Chair of the Sony Foundation, and previously served on the Commercial Radio Australia Board. Her numerous career achievements include a Telstra NSW Business Women's Award for the Private Sector, a Centenary Medal for Service to Australian Society in Business Leadership, and induction into the Commercial Radio Hall of Fame.
A Graduate of the Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), Cathy also holds a BA in Communications from University of Technology Sydney.
Robbie Dery
Chief Commercial Operating Officer
Joining oOh!media’s team in 2008, Robbie leads oOh!DataScience powered product strategy, in addition to overseeing the commercial strategy and operating leadership across the oOh! Network. Robbie is responsible for driving growth across our major portfolios including Airports, Airline and In-Flight Entertainment, Billboards, Retail, Rail, and Street Furniture. He also leads the commercial agenda for Airports, Qantas Lounge and inflight, Street Furniture and Rail media businesses.
Robbie’s 25-year career spans aviation, financial services and media sectors in UK, European, North American and Australian markets. His commercialisation of customer experience through data, content and technology led to him becoming an aviation and airport media industry thought leader. He was responsible for creating the premium Qantas Club and Business Lounge digital media strategy which consistently delivers the highest net promoter score (NPS) of all Qantas products.
As a strong strategic, creative and commercial leader, Robbie has earned the reputation for motivating and developing individuals with a diverse skills and experiences into high-performance teams. He has also been recognised with several Moodie Davitt awards for his innovative approach to developing unique and engaging Out of Home media platforms.
Chris Roberts
Chief Financial Officer
Chris was appointed as Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 August 2022. Previous to this, Chris was oOh!’s Group Commercial Finance Director and has held a variety of senior finance-related roles during his 6 years with the company, including acting CFO and acting Chief Commercial Operating Officer. He brings extensive experience to the role, including senior finance and strategy roles with Aristocrat Leisure Ltd, having commenced his career with Deloitte. Chris is a Chartered Accountant and has an Executive MBA with the Australian Graduate School of Management.
